Hi I am in Sydney but was born and raised in North East London and have gone back a little way with the help of many others to Picardy (Huguenots), East London (loads of us), Suffolk (quite a bit). I have left all this alone for a few years now but have dug out my notes. I found this site's link on the Parish Chest site which I was directed to when trying to buy a Huguenot Society pamphlet, so I have not used this site in the past. The software looks a lot better these days! I haven't gone up all my grandparents' lines yet and get totally stuck with an Irish connection on the mid 1800's, so i would like to follow that one up. I DO find it difficult to go beyond 1831 and the census details so will be interested to see what new registers or help there is to search parish registers, etc.

Welcome to Top Dog Coco C|:-) take a look around and post your queries, you'll find the members on here are very knowledgeable and helpful. They can usually find a needle in a haystack :)
