It's World Chimpanzee Day today. 14th July
As much as I'd like to, I really really really can't force myself to celebrate, speak up or take a stand. I honestly cannot stand monkeys (except the apes). Having said that, I can and do hope that our own Chimp stays safe from extinction, in fact I'd be happy to see him cloned so he hangs around for ages and ages and ages!!
Look at the ears on him....I could fly if I had ears like that
I'm glad you haven't - think of what you could and would overhear in your capacity as a Tower of Power person!! None of us would be safe (in our beds or otherwise).
He’ll grow into his ears, just like you did, Chimpy.
But Chimp isn’t a monkey. He’s an ape.
Anything simeon is a monkey to me, Sue and they really do give me the creeps. I was creeping out a bit when I wrote that "up there" and should have said gorillas not apes. Gorillas are a rather special breed.
Chimp of course is a different kettle of fish no matter what the species - there aint no other like our Chimp!!
Gorillas are apes too....remember Grape Ape?
theres only one CHIMP
Woo hoo Chimpy day
Until you mentioned him, Sue, I don't think I'd heard of him so I had to go investigate.
Even seeing him didn't bring back any memories.
I guess it's the best name they could have found - can't imagine Tamarillo Gorillo - doesn't have the same "ring", does it? XXX
The kids used to watch him. He’s a gentle giant is Grape Ape. Not entirely the full quid but cute.
Your kids are probably a (big) bit younger than mine, Sue, which explains everything.
Separate names with a comma.
