    I wonder if that's the same principle which makes salt caves beneficial to health?

    Maybe, but I'm not an expert in these things. What I have just remembered (I think - either that or I have a very fertile imagination :rolleyes:) is that during WW2 they used the salt mines to store various irreplaceable national treasures, because they were so far underground and bomb-proof.

    There are a few irreplaceable national treasures on this forum -I wouldn't send any of them to the salt mines.

    The documents arrived yesterday. There was a map of the area to be demolished, and included were the names of the owners of the properties.

    Well worth the wait.

    Article now done :)
