    Cornishman 27 September 1883.
James Hill, a married man,was summoned by Jane Osborne ,a single woman ,Blowninghouse,Illogan.to show why he shouldn't contribute towards the illegitimate child she alleged he was the father. The case was adjourned because the defendant left the country.
I wonder if she is one of the Osborne's I am looking for.
Off to see what else I can find.
    Added:
I have found a Redruth District birth of William John Osborne whose mother is Osborne. September qtr 1883.

1891 has my Osborne family with a child named William John born 1884 at Blowinghouse with Jane born Breage 1831.
    too old for a child!
    I wonder what happened to him.1891 at RG12 piece1849 folio 19 page 31.
Where am I suppose to put him in the tree?
    How many more surprises.
    Jane is a widow.

    Can't find him in 1901.
    Added:
CornwallOPC has a 27 Dec 1894 burial of William John Osborne age 11 of Blowinghouse. I expect that is him.

I wonder if he is Elizabeth Jane Osborne's (1852) son but put as the son of the head Jane of (1827)household. Maybe she went under the name of Jane in the court.
    Added:
He was the son of Elizabeth Jane Osborne:rolleyes:The Cornish Telegraph 15 November 1883.Her full name this time.
Will add him to the tree.
