I am trying to find out about John Broadhurst & if possible when he left Knighton & went to Lancashire.
I have the censuses from 1861c through to1881c when he lived in Starkie Street,West Derby as a lodger & Boot Finisher.
In 1888 he married a widow Mary Ellen ......... (my Gt Gt Grandmother) at Our Lady of St Nicholas & St Anne Liverpool.
I think his brother Richard was a witness.
In 1891c both John & Mary were at 14 Milk Street Windle St Helens as boarders but without Mary's daughter (my Gt Grandmother)
It appears he was not in the next census as John Broadhurst & not with his wife, but he was with her daughter & lived a new life until he died
