Henry Stewart from Skye m. Candace Kirkham in Leake, Lincs. 1805, emig to Tasmania 1843. Obadiah Ikin and family came to Aust. with 2nd Fleet in 1792 (he was a soldier). William Head, ag. lab. migrated to Victoria, where his son was the first white child born at Port Philip. James Quested was transported for aiding a gang of Kentish smugglers, and George Taylor (possibly aka Tailleur and of a French Huguenot family), for stealing a parcel of meat from a wagon.
