Known burials in Knighton's old cemetery (Crab-tree Walk)

    Contains:-

    Cross reference to spouse.

    Wife's maiden name (if known)

Date of Birth - Either from the headstone or taken from the GRO (General Records Office) register for those who died post 1969. The dates of birth can only be as good as the person giving the details at the time of death registration, whatever the informant gave as the date of birth is what appears on the death certificate.

Date of Death - either from the headstone or from probate records.

(some have headstones some have plaques, quite a few graves are unmarked.)

    What a lovely job! Beautiful.

Now you have some time on your hands- I'm sure we can come up with a few graveyards that need a good sort out....

Great job, Chimp!! A lot of people will be so grateful/appreciative to you for all your hard work. I know of some cemeteries over here that need some lists made :D As @Auburn says.. you will be a busy little chimp once the word gets out.

I had more to do on it last night. Someone contacted me saying instead of just one person in a grave there were in fact 4 but only one on the head stone. I had to update row D and the Surname index  but they also gave me some more people in the cemetery, along with their locations, who didn't have head stones. I also got rid of 2 out of the Surnames Unknown section.
