Link to a Post from another Thread

At the bottom of each post beside the Like button is a little black number.
This post, being the first in the thread will be #1.

If you click the number it will bring up a box with the code you need to copy and paste the post elsewhere.

So... if you want to say to someone, "Take a look at this message, you may find it interesting"
Find the post and copy the code, (you may find it easier to open a new window/tab)
Return to the discussion and type your message e.g..

Take a look here.

Highlight 'here' with your mouse
click the Insert Link Icon (below the little blue arrow above your message)
and paste the code into the pop up box.

You can also copy the url in your browser bar from anywhere (articles or albums or threads) and paste it into the pop up box.

Or you can paste it directly into your post.

Perhaps my brain isn't functioning today but in the pop-up window (when you click on the message number), isn't the wrong option highlighted?

Yes, you are correct but it is the 2nd option that needs to be copy and pasted from the Permalink. Where it says URL etc
