Can anyone tell me or verify whether the 3rd number here in blue square signifies the number of children born to the couple please. I think St. Nicholas 1797 but it's not saying. First no. is Baptism, 2nd is birth date & 3rd ?? month also cut off in first entries.
It is definitely St Nicholas Baptism Register 1797. Column 1 - when born Column 2 - when Christened The third number is in a column headed "Seniority of its birth in the Family and its Relation to its Parents" John Threlfall was born 2nd August and Christened 5th November.

Thanks Flook, not my family I chose the top one to show that the top of page wasn't visible for entry date ID's. Lots of folks in Liverpool Sue many of them mariners- but no-one had t.v. any hoo. Just counted Sue, 10 Babes on 5th but doesn't show which month My hopefully probable was Baptised 25th Oct, born 13th Oct. 4th child, -7 up from page bottom. If anyone can decipher word after 'his wife' that would be interesting too. So I need to find anothery besides John 1790 & Jane 1792. Pts married 1789 St. Nicholas.
'Hinde' in earlier baptisms they were at Hackin's Hey. I think I've figured it as "Thos Hughes" I guess the Minister of the time, although it looks more like "Fhis" Thanks Flook for looking.
