    Red face time:oops:

Back in my early days of research, which started with my Clifford lines I made copious paper notes, but did not put any source references:eek:

I am looking for a marriage of William Clifford (or Clifton - he is Clifton in 1841 & 1851 and then the family are Clifford) to Ann Timms (born Farthinghoe Northamptonshire). I have it noted as 1822. Now I cannot find it again:headbang:
    Can anyone help me out?

In 1841 the family are living in Finmere Oxfordshire HO107-885-13-4-3
in 1851 in Finmere HO107-1735-230-22 (where Ann's pob is established)

My old notes do not give Ann's maiden name but the last child born 1839 is on the GRO index and at the baptism of their son Edward in 1823 one of the sponsors is a Timms

On FMP there is a transcription of a marriage (no image):-

William CLIFFORD and Ann TIMS 28 May 1822 at Stowe, Buckinghamshire. Witnesses are Thomas Baill and William Turpin.

Record set is Buckinghamshire Marriage Index.

    Document type is Bishop's Transcripts.

Do you think this was the one?
