In trying to finalise the children of my gt grandmother's sister I was given a hint ( for once well done Ancestry) that one of her sons might have married in South Africa. I was able to find his wife on Family search and the name was vaguely familiar. When I found her birth record on GRO the mmn was the same as his mother's; so they had to be cousins. This led me back to the sister I had had great trouble tracing after her marriage and now I know why! Having had five children before the next census the whole tribe went to S Africa and I found extensive records for the family on FS. As the two youngest children may still be living they are the only ones I don't have details for, in fact I wouldn't have known they existed if they hadn't been mentioned in their brother's death record.
