Nee Vincent, daughter of James Vincent and Lydia English, born Hardingham, died Norwich, death registered in the Dec quarter 1873 Norwich.

She took on her husband, John Burrell Fairweather's draper's business in Norwich St Peter Mancroft when he died in 1828, after only 8 years of marriage, 4 daughters and a son.

I am surprised that i can't find a Probate for her, have I just missed it?

I wonder if she signed the business over to her daughter Eliza at some point in her later years, and then had nothing when she died.

That's what I was thinking, though she still seemed to be in charge in 1871

Just as an aside, can anyone find her husband's birth? All i know is c1798 calculated from the age on his burial record, may be St Peter Mancroft, but he could have come from anywhere o_O

John Burrell FAIRWEATHER baptised 22nd March 1798 at Shipdham, Norfolk, to parents John and Margaret.

Shipdham is about 20 miles west of Norwich. :)
