Always caring about others
I wonder if anyone can help. For a few years I have been looking for a marriage. It is for a Henry Fenwick and Isabelle Beattie sometime between 1852 -1854. Please note it is not the June 1853 one in Belford. I have had that cert thinking she may have been married twice. The 1851 census she was a Beattie in 1861 census she was a Fenwick. It was suggested to me that she may have gone over the border to marry. Someone checked the Lamberton Toll marriages for me but found nothing. I believe she was married - also on her death cert it reads Widow of .....
Her Husband married twice he married again in 1873. I have this cert but would very much like to know the date if possible of that elusive first marriage. If anyone can offer any suggestions/ideas I would be very grateful.
