Modern genealogy research nightmare!

Mine too.

 

I'm still wondering what happened when the girls were registered. They were born in a nursing home apparently. There must be records. I'm not saying I don't believe it but just wondering how the mother got round registering twins

Finding myself in newly located 'Library' come coffee shop -c
ome council offices 'hub', Seems most of the large print books have gone '2013 & before' so very little to choose from. I asked if 'Secret Sister' was available. Should have looked it up here first. So it arrived- The secret Sister by Brenda Novaks. Looks okay so far, I'm still in the back wash fom a HeatherGraham book, 'Deadly Fate'.
When I have finished this book I shall try for the one you mentioned Susan.
oh, maybe not. Have just read what seems like the whole story on some news page.
