Hi
Thank you for letting me join, I’m a bit nervous as I’ve not been a member of a forum before, so apologies in advance for any silly questions. I have been researching my family history (on and off!) for about 15 years. When I put it down for a bit and pick it up again, it’s like starting a new book, and I have to get to know the characters all over again!! (busy life and menopause brain fog don’t help!). I am at the stage now of filling in gaps, confirming details and making sure that everything I think I know is correct, or not! My Dad’s family are from London, Kent, Sussex, Suffolk, Scotland and Ireland and I now have brick walls in all directions so hopefully may ask for help here. I use the usual ancestry sites, but I need to get out and about now I think. My mothers family are Italian, so not got very far there. I have also just started my husbands tree but that is for when I have spare time! I love getting to know my ancestors and get so absorbed by it all. Thank
