Newbie researching Crudgington family and similar names

Hi all,

Statts here from Udon Thani Thailand, researching Crudgington/Credgington/Crutchingtons etc.
Just found this site whilst surfing the net due to there being absolutely ZERO new UK records published on Ancestry.co.uk during the last 6 weeks so nothing to search :-)
There have by the way been several hundred million new/updated US records during that time which would be fine if I were a member of Ancestry.US, but I'm not.
Not sure what is going wrong with Ancestry, but it seems to be going downhill bigtime from when I first joined 5 years ago. Perhaps it's me being more picky now than I was years ago?
Anyway, read a couple of the threads and enjoyed the mix of useful help alongside good humoured banter, and hope I will be able to help on both counts.
Anyone with a "Crudgington" in their tree?

Yes, we have some rather knowledgeable people here with all manner of resources at their fingertips - not just with Ancestry! I am pleased that you like the humour as well - family history is not just dusty research. ;)
