Please could someone with access to newspapers have a look at the "Tyne Mercury; Northumberland and Durham and Cumberland Gazette" for Tuesday 28 May 1816? It has an article about the wedding of Alexander Moffat and Mary Turner, my great-great-grandparents. I believe it says something about Mary being the second daughter of Captain William Turner, and I'd love to know the full details, especially if there's anything about Alexander's father.

Not very informative, I’m afraid -
Tuesday last at Berwick, Mr Alexander Moffat, carpenter, to Mary, youngest daughter of the late Captain William Turner, of that port.

"Mr Alexander Moffat, carpenter, to Mary, youngest daughter of the late Captain William Turner of that port, lately? in London"

That is all that is given

Many thanks! At least I know now that Captain William Turner had more than one daughter, and that he was deceased at the time of the marriage.
