Newspapers Watford area

Are there any newspapers for Watford area 1927ish online. Have tried FMP but they seem very unhelpful, other than the Death reg'n.
Were there perhaps none for that area digitised?

I'm trying to substantiate a death & burial for a local chap. I keep coming back to this while tidying up my files. Would love to finalise this line.

The Watford Observer would be the best newspaper - or the Herts Advertiser. Not sure if either have been digitised, though. What's the chap's name and we can then try to pin down a quarter in which the death was registered.

Deaths Mar 1927
HILL Jacob 65- Watford 3a-1292 a Blacksmith. I'm hoping to check burial notices/funeral notices to be sure this is my Man.

The Hertford RO/HALS will have a copy. You could perhaps email them and ask if they could do a search.
