Oh William, what did you do?

I am trying to tidy up the vast collection of stuff that I downloaded when there were cheap opportunities, or I had a bit of spare time and was browsing about. In typical fashion, I did not note any further details so now am the proud possessor of stuff that I can't really reliably relate to anyone.
Can anyone tell me what on earth this relates to? It's definitely National Archives, but apart from the Old Bailey reference, I'm confused about the rest.

I have since learned to always note all references - well nearly all the time!

To me it looks like he had something to do with Tea - Receiving or Stealing - at the October Sessions of The Old Bailey 1828 and got 6 months imprisonment - but my eyes ain't so good!!

According to England & Wales, Criminal Records 1791-1892 - William Bradford age 20 was convicted of Larceny by Servant [?] and sentenced to 6 months in prison.

Bet he never got another job as a Servant afterwards!!

The image shown in post #1 is the cover of a petition, from HO 17/93. It's from Findmypast: they rather misleadingly have it in their 'prison registers' category.

If you haven't already done so, you should look at the subsequent images in the set: there's some good stuff there!
