Are the burial records for Penzance Cemetery, Cornwall, available? Have tried OPC with no luck :(
Am interested in finding out details of a grave that is on Find A Grave, with no other details than the surname of 'Richards'.

It depends how recent the burial was. Records used to be kept at the cemetery. You probably need to contact Cornwall Council to check. Or possibly the person who contributed the photo to Find a Grave.

The burial I'm looking for is 1924. The grave has no other information except for the surname .

There is a report in the Cornishman of 6 Aug of the funeral of Mrs Pascoe Richards who died while visiting her daughter in Paignton, with an extensive list of mourners. Is this the one you are looking for?

    Hi Londoner,

Sadly no.... Am looking for William John Richards, died 11 Apr 1924. He was born 1891. His daughter, Florence May Richards, died 1939, maybe in the same grave.

Thank you so much Genie1. You have made an elderly gentleman very happy, as he has always wondered when and where his grandfather died and was buried, so between us he now has all the info :D
