    Hello,

Selina was the daughter of Thomas Townsend and Mary Ann Niles, who had married in Landulph in Cornwall in 1834. Selina was born in Stoke Damerel in 1842, and had moved to Guernsey with her family by 1861 (having been in Stoke Damerel in 1851).

I’ve searched FamilySearch and FindMyPast, but with no luck. I’d appreciate any help!

    Adam

Don't know if these are yours but Cornwallopc have baptisms for
1835 Landulph William TOWNSEND Thomas Mary Ann -Cargreen
1836 Landulph Richard TOWNSEND Thomas Mary Ann -Cargreen

That’s correct, except her birth was registered in Stoke Damerel. I think they probably just put ditto for all the children.

Not that this helps, but Townsend can be recorded as Townshend, or at least I’ve seen it spelt with an ‘h’ in Devon :)
