I have access to Ancestry (World deluxe) Find my Past and numerous books Glamorgan. Can I post direct to list or are look ups and results sent to individuals off list ? Can attachments (Images) be posted ? To list ? Many thanks. Rob
Hi Rob, Responses can often be posted direct however please keep in mind that many sources are subject to copyright which may prevent images being loaded to the forum. FMP for example are very strict in this respect and from memory Ancestry are also against images from their site being added to forums etc. You may also find that many publications are still subject to copyright which prevents images from them being used. You may find this thread of interest regarding posting of census images for example on the forum.
Thank you Doug, yes I have been a rootsweb member for sometime on a number of lists. And the same policy is in place. With the majority of my books I have written permission to share with others as long as it is for educational or non profit making purposes. Thanks for your quick response Rob
