If you have an ancestor who was killed on the railway or just wish to research Railway Accidents then this is a good resource. http://www. railwaysarchive.co.uk/eventlisting.php?page=2&submit=Go&showSearch=true
Now if only i could find the Aussie one. Many years ago i came across the death of a family member while working on the lines,do you think i can find it now or the site,no!
I'd forgotten about this particular resource. Good timing, Chimp. One of my ancestors was knocked down on a branch line in bad weather, and wasn't found straight away. I'm currently working on his family. Weirdly, I've crossed that same spot (two hundred miles away) several times when out walking... it's now a public footpath.
Darn, don't you hate when you have so many names in your head? going now, spent the day on Trove, eyes need a break. ciao & good night
is this the same as this site which I have just been told about? http://www.railwayaccidents.port.ac.uk/
