That took a bit of searching! :D

I found Elizabeth's maiden name (CRASKE) by searching for the birth registration of their daughter Charlotte, who was 3 months old in the 1881 census.

Then searched for a marriage between Elizabeth CRASKE and a Robert. Found one in the September quarter of 1871, Aylsham district, volume 4b, page 143 to Robert STEWARD.

    Aylsham covers Corpusty. ;)

Never rely on one way of spelling things. ;) Folk wrote down what they heard and spelling was not really standardised until as late as the beginning of the 20th century. A 'T' and a 'D' can almost sound the same. ;)

I can see by the 1861 census that Elizabeth Craske was in a union workhouse along with her brother John aged 9
but no parents were there tried to find them in 1851 census but cannot find them would anyone have access to 1851 census please

    regards
