Eliza Perkins (born 1814) married Samuel Pretty (born 1813) in 1836 in Shadwell, East London. They had five children, but only two survived. Samuel William, their first child, born 1838 and Maria, their last child, born 1849, both in Shoreditch registration district. More than one of 'those' trees said that the family went to Adelaide, South Australia. There is a death for an Eliza Pretty in Adelaide in 1850, whose husband is given as Samuel Pretty. There is a death in Adelaide in 1874 of a Samuel Pretty, but nothing to confirm it's my Samuel., unless I buy the death certificate. I have them in the 1841 census in Shoreditch HO107, Piece 709, Book 9, Fol.18, Page 28, but can't find them in any other census. I can't for the life of me find out when they went to South Australia. Can anyone help please.

I had to dig into the deep dark depths of my memory. I knew there was something there somewhere, in my memory that is.
