I'm looking for Albert & Margaret Troth.
Albert was born 1871 in Bromsgrove, Worcs. and married Margaret O'Neil 1899 in Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbright, Scotland.

1901 Scottish Census shows them living at:
59 Alpine St. Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbright - name shown as IROTH

Alfred 26 Nail Maker b1873 Bromsgrove, England
    Margaret Wife b1878 Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbrightshire
    Henry O. Son b1897 " "
    Emma I. Dau b1900 " "
(above details supplied by a friend from Ancestry's 1901 Scottish Census)

Daughter Emma Isabella emigrated to USA 1921.

    Any help appreciated

You may already have checked Scotland's people index - but if not, I've had a quick look there and there are 7 Troths in Dalbeattie in 1911 including an alfred, 2 margarets and an Emma - no Henry that I can see. You would have to buy a few credits to see the full details there I'm afraid.

Hi Grisel - no, I hadn't checked the SP index.

Thanks for looking for me and for the info too regarding the number of Troths in Dalbeattie.
