Seeking information on Jeremiah Constantine....Cork Ireland.

    I wonder if there are 2 generations of Michael CONSTANTINE. The first Greenwich Pension record for him on FMP is 1781 and ends in 1800, he being "worn out". Subsequent records for a Michael CONSTANTINE seem to start from 1800 and appear to go up to 1818. No, I think they must be one and the same as the last residence on the 2nd Michael is the same as that of the first Michael when he received a pension. Presumably the "no wife" means he was unmarried in 1801 but this does not preclude a subsequent marriage and children.

    There are some Catholic parish registers for Cork available to search online at the NLI and some for Limerick too. If you have the patience (and good eyesight too) they could be worth a look. I had a quick peek but there are masses of them and you have to browse through them page by page!
