The registration process protects us from electronic spammers but there are some human ones who make it. Having had very very few since Jan and Doug launched the forum, suddenly there are people who are creeping under the wire. Admin and the Mods are vigilant but some still sneak in. Can I remind you all that if you see anything dodgy you have the option to Report it, this elevates it to our attention. It really doesn't matter at all if it is a false alarm but at least it gets our attention 
Also, (not trying to teach Granny to suck eggs), please do not click on any link in a post that looks odd or is made by a member you have never heard of before without checking with one of us first.
I wonder whether this sudden influx is a measure of our increased popularity -
