Just logged on to ask for opinion on a photograph, in comparison with one I already have in my album on here, with another I found online a while ago. When I logged on, the first page I came to when I logged on had that very same picture at the top of the page in the random images generator

There is certainly a definite resemblance. If you add that to the fact that you obviously have good provenance for both photographs, I would say it was the same chap.

Thanks. Location also points to a match. Bells cottages ran next toThe Blue anchor pub where Edward was an ostler for a time (and was the family "local" for a couple of generations more) The Black Bull was just a few houses along, so place and time fits.
