Stephen was born 1885 and last tracked in the 1901 census living with his family Stephen and Emily Rea at 27 Brockley Road Deptford.

Have trawled through FMP, Free BMD and Family Search. Cannot find anything after 1901.Have I missed something??

I've searched but can't find anything on him. The only possible is he could he have emigrated?

But then I could only find one possibility.

I have found something on FMP and it might be a lead. There is an S. Rea born 1886 Died 1915. The reference is in 'British Armed Forces And Overseas Deaths And Burials'. Put this in the 'Record Sets' search and it's on page 11 of the search results.

3 results some up for S Rea and they all appear to be for the same man.
According to one of these records he died on 13 January 1915 on the ship 'Cape Transport' in Yokohama. He was a member of the crew and died at sea. This record has a National Archives Reference> BT 334 Box 0063.

Searching for BT 334 on The National Archives website brings up more information about these records.
