    Folks,
I am again working on my Non-Conformist Sutton family from Clifton circa 1650,but i keep finding records from Strickland which i have not been able to find on A-Z atlas orGenuki. Is this an old name no longer used or a district rather than a parish?

If you Google Great Strickland you'll be able to see where it is. There is also a Little Strickland about 2 miles to the south.
