    @Daft Bat
    Jan, this hit me while almost asleep, sorry about that I should have left part of the name off.
    The street address I had thanks, [via Jellylegs & 1939 reg'n] just can't find it on Google map.

    @MollyMay ,That's the one I had in notes for checking later, thank you.
    @Sandiep , it is the correct family.Thank you

    @Flook , what can I say? I considered the Surrey electoral reg'r after dipping out in London then the events of a few days won out & I didn't do Surrey.

    I had the deaths of the parents Harry 1965 & Doris now found 1982 brighton.

    Robert & wife found in Sutton to 1970 & FreeBMD proved useful.

    Is it possible for a Mod to remove Surnames of people after 1962 in order to blend with this & mention if later finds were fruitful.?

    As @Flook stopped where he did and therefore no current whereabouts have been posted, I will leave things as they are.

    The post is closed (thanks @Blackmogs ) but it is a timely reminder to beware of posting requests for information about folk if they could still be living.

    Thanks. :)

    Today I had verification of the findings mentioned above & in a previous post. I even dared, [thanks Elizabeth] to message a young lady on facebook. Yep, my 3rd cousin x 2 removed. The Gt. G'Daughter of my Harry Thomas Mitchell so long sought. Proven lastly in Royal Marines 1899-1919 also in 1939 via Birthdate & wife.

    Have chatted with 3rd cousin x2r, & will send her my data on her ancestor's family. 8(:-)

    I wish you all the same joy at finding that special some one. Actually, this is a second special someone, the other on my Mothers side, she had told me of her Uncle Albert. Odd that the families of both of these men were found in the same area. Must be something in the air in Surrey? I hope one day UK gets over it's weird habit of naming places as S.E. or Mid E. or other un fathomable names for us foreigners. I think Sutton was the place in each case but may have been a yard or two outside.

    Another funny coincidence, although I cant recollect your post at the moment Wendy but recently I was reading about your relatives in Balcombe Road and I had a little chuckle to myself. My daughter has just bought a new build house there (not yet finished) and I thought I must remember to tell her to keep any treasures she finds in the garden.:D
