Thomas Tromans born abt 1822 in Rowley Regis, married Phoebe Crampton ( father Henry Crampton) in 1844 in Cradley, Worcestershire. Thomas's father was William.
Phoebe dies and Thomas married Elizabeth Foxall in 1855.

I would like to know who Thomas's mother is but am unable to find a baptism and also unable to find death of Phoebe.
Thomas and Phoebe had 3 children: Henrietta born abt 1844;Joseph born abt 1845 and Myra 1853. The spelling of Myra changed.
Henrietta stayed with the Cramptons after her father remarried and when he moved to Cornwall. I have no idea what happened to Myra.

I have all the information about Thomas and Phoebe and their descendants and just want to know who his mother is.

    Hi there,

I think that this might be the death of Phoebe: Dudley registration district, volume 6c, page 8, March quarter 1853. FreeBMD have it listed as *ey Tromans, but if you look at the original page, it looks like Febey :)

    Thanks for the quick reply:)
I am looking for a friend so she will be pleased after being unable to find Phoebe.
She has Myra (all spellings) as born in 1853 in Cradley according to the 1861 census freebmd- Piece: RG9/1586 Place: Redruth -Cornwall Enumeration District: 3
Civil Parish: Phillack Ecclesiastical Parish: -
    Folio: 65 Page: 30 Schedule: 177
    Address: Commercial Road
But there is no record of her born in 1853 and after the 1861 census she disappears.

Census ages are notoriously inaccurate - ages were not as important back along compared with today, so I always look +/- a couple of years. Did that and found the following:

Mira TROMANS, June quarter 1851, Dudley registration district, volume 18, page 324.

If Mira was born after April 1851, she would be aged 9 when the 1861 census was taken. The record has her as 8, which is only one year out and, based on the census age, she could have been born 1852 or 1853.

There is a marriage of a Myra Tromans in Redruth in 1911

    Sept qtr 1911 Redruth 5c 385

She married either Joseph H Angove or Aubrey Hoskins

Sorry you can forget that - this one was on the 1911 census born 1884, looks like her niece
