TWISS of Fitz Parish, SHROPSHIRE. 17th century

    Would anyone have any knowledge of Twiss family of Fitz. Date 1600s. My 7th gt gfr was Richard Twiss born 1609.(Parish registers ) married 1.Sara 1532 2.JANE ??? 1642. Moved to Kerry Ireland 1655 or so as Land Agent Lord Chirbury. Thanks for ant info.

    Have you seen this website, which is a transcription of the Fitz parish registers? The name TWISS(E) appears quite frequently, with one Robert TWISSE being churchwarden.

    Thank you I know all about Fitz Parish registers. We are up against Burke L.G who state one thing w hen we have proved another.Would like to get the surnames of Richard Twiss two wives.Robert, churchwarden was my 8th gt gfr. Thanks again.
