I noticed this morning (behind the times I know) that Top Dog has a Twitter presence again! This gives me notification of new threads on my phone before I even finish my coffee in bed. :)

I used to post links each day on Facebook but, since they changed the format of Facebook, they are not pulling through. Therefore, I have activated the Top Dog Twitter account again. ;)

I don’t twitter either. I do have a Facebook account, but I only joined to gain access to local community groups, so I haven’t got any ‘friends’ :(:D

I started on face book to keep upwith family in bad weather up QLd way, when they were there, also Darwin family. Now it's format has changed as I scroll down to read I keep getting pop overs from friends list which is very annoying. I possibly could go the 'fluffbusters ' way to eliminate them but too much bother. I mainly stay now for the genealogy groups & a few cooking groups. [one] Never tried twitter- no time left. ;)

Not on either myself also but it does become very annoying when the rest of the world gets photos of my family before I do. The answer is 'well join facebook then'...not happening anytime soon. I find no need to. If you want to talk to me and let me know your news, ring me or better still call by if you can.

I'm on Facebook and I have a number of friends, most of whom I know personally. I share things to friends, and to a few groups I belong to (crafts and local interest/history). If anything comes along with nasty comments, I don't join in or share it further. I'm on Twitter too but I don't use it much.

I find our local community FB pages to be invaluable. They are great for finding out local news - especially with the flooding that has been happening the last few days - and is used to offer or ask for help.

We also have local selling pages - more convenient than other such selling websites. ;)

    That’s the reason I got a FB account :)

Bless you, but as Auburn said, I don’t need FB friends when I’ve got you lot - and my ‘real’ friends, of course :)

I have a F B account, not sure why now but it has proved useful, apart from catching up with a few people who knew me in my Essex days it allowed me to become a member of the "Chelmsford Remembered group", quite a number of memories awakened there, all good too.

I could have a lot more "friends", apparently there are quite a number of ladies with exotic names who would like to be my friend. :sceptical: :D
