HI can some one help me with Violet White born 1885 new zealand died 1938 new zealand what i am hopeing for is info on were she was born wellington or invercargill and if she has bother's and sister's and info on her father & mother if you can thank you .for your time and help.
Hi Paul, I had a look at New Zealand BDM. All I found was a Violet White born 1885 to Samuel and Janet. No indication as to where she was born so you may have to purchase a copy of the registration. The registration number is 1885/16600. I have found no other siblings, so either they may have been born before emigrating or there were no others. I cant find a marriage for Samuel and Janet so maybe married before they arrived. An obituary shows Violet Wright 25/10/1938 at Napier widow of Christopher Wright. A marriage in 1904 to Christopher Wright 1904/55. I wish NZBDM's showed where these registrations were. That's all I have so far for you. I tried looking in Papers Past NZ but I cant figure that site out. It's a bit convoluted for my muddled brain at the moment. There are loads of Samuel Whites listed as immigrating, one stands out in 1879 but his wife was Matilda. So no joy there. An immigration before 1885 is the go. Will keep trying for you as time permits.

There is a MYHeritage tree indicating that she married a Hinton. I did find a Violet Wright to Hinton in 1926 however she was registered as Wright for her death in 1938. Still cant find anything on Samuel and Janet though.
violet only the 1 to christopher wright he died 1918 she was 55when she died 1938 that Hinton one on my Heritage is not right

I can't find a marriage anywhere, familysearch, FMP, NZ BMD,but I only have UK access on Ancestry. I also tried Australia, as I see from the birth certificate they were both born there, but nothing found.
Info on other trees has Samuel and Janet White née Good being both born in Melbourne. There are two Janet Goods that could fit 1859 and 1864 Lots of Samuel Whites though. No marriage in either Victoria, NSW nor New Zealand. Just had a look at your file that you have posted here and on Violets birth certificate it states they married in Dunedin..In 1884
