Charles West b1888 in Stepney s/o John (yes my not wanting to be found g.grandad) and Louisa Elizabeth (Goodway) West. Charles West married Frances Elizabeth Rutland on 16/4/1911 in Limehouse. I have found 3 children Charles Phillip b1911, Elizabeth Frances b 1913 and Frances Kathleen (Catherine on bapt) b1915 I think Charles Phillip and Elizabeth Frances go to Canada - there are links to passenger lists and marriages in Ontario for the pair, but I do not have Anc. Worldwide to see the dates or if they emigrated together or alone or with parents. I have not been able to find Charles and Frances after the birth of Frances Kathleen in 1915 Charles had 2 brothers who emigrated to Canada Thomas West b1884, emigrated 1911, married in Toronto in 1912 died 1964 Toronto Alfred West b1891 also emigrated to Canada married in York North Ontario in 1916, His motherLouisa Elizabeth also emigrated age 64 (66 on passenger list) in 1916 - Louisa West b1852 and died 1939 in Toronto If anyone can help I would be grateful

Thank so much Terry, So it looks like Charles and Frances either died or abandoned the 3 children (I have not found a credible death for either - in London) or she did and he did a runner or could not cope. This has solved the issue with the youngest Frances Kathleen, who married and died in Liverpool and I just could not work out why an East End girl could end up marrying in Liverpool - all has been revealed
