What does this say?

Sis

Rootles out resources!
This is the occupation given for an ancestor in the 1861 census, to me it looks like 'Nailer out of place'. Nailer I think would be a person who made iron nails, but does anyone know what they might mean by the 'out of place' part please? Or may be I'm reading Nailer wrong.

Maybe it means, nailer, works from this place, home!

Just looked it up...a nailer was usually a domestic occupation, working from a workshop attached to the home or close by.

Thanks. I did look up nailer, but it was the out of place bit I wasn't sure about.
