Am interested in occupation of George C Wallis, at the time of his marriage (1895) he was a Toy & Fancy goods dealer, his father is a China Dealer. It may simply be Wholesale Goods Salesman but I am not convinced by the first word
(this is the Islington 1901 census RG13/198/38/14)

    Incidentally I can't find him in 1891 ...

FMP has it as Atheleto_O. I do not think the word starts with a 'W' (it is not at all like the W in Wallis), and could be 'Ath', but really cannot make it out.

Is he the photographer, at home with parents, Samuel (china dealer) and Jane in Melcombe Regis in 1891 - RG12/1646/59/9?

In 1891, he is with his parents and sister in Melcomb Regis:

Still trying to work out the 1901 occupation but he was a photographer in 1891...

    Snap @MollyMay :D

Wonderful, another photographer :) (as if I don't have enough to do I am building a tree of the Weymouth photographers I have found mention of)

Tracked down the 1891 now thank you both, Ancestry transcription was Walter rather than Wallis

George is the nephew of the first photographer that I am looking into, Thomas Samuel Wallis. It's nice as he is Weymouth/Melcombe Regis born and bred. I haven't seen any examples of his work as yet though. He was photographer, artist and Councillor.

1911 he is shop assistant, Games and Sports. So Athlete Goods in 1891 could be right.
