What is this Occupation?

    Can anyone read William Hepburn's Occupation in 1901?
    possibly - Head Civil ????? Draughtsman.
    (The more I enlarge, the more blurred it becomes!)

    In 1891 he's at school, in 1911 he's an Engineering Works Manager

    I think it's Civil & Mechanical Draughtsman.

    This is based on taking the loop above what I've read as 'c' and the squiggle to the left of the 'l' (both in Mechanical) as an enumerator's mark.
