    Looks like he also got a DCM in 1919 which doesn't show on the above medal card

    He, his wife and kids emigrated to Canada in 1929.

    This all started by me visiting a lady who is trying to set up a museum in our town. She showed me a picture of a 'Leonard T Hargest' who was supposedly 103 when he died in town in 2003. Turns out he was a mere lad of 100 and 11 months. Tried searching for info on him and also decided to research his brother. There is very little to be found on Leonard.
