Benjamin Camber, widowed, retired baker

Benjamin dies in Markfield in May 1923

I can't fine Benjamin or Catherine between 1871 and 1911 so don't know where to look for Catherine's death.

1901 census - If you are using FMP, he isn't transcribed RG13/2987/10/11 - Catesby Street, St Mary, Leicester
Look for Sarah Ann Briggs b 1840 Birmingham (if you use the ref no she is the only one that comes up)
Sam Cambers b1841 - widowed baker

Thank you MM, finally got him, on FMP he comes up as Sam Cambers 1841.

I'll take a look at the birth certificate.

It's her death certificate, it says wife of Benjamin Cambers, baker. Died 30th September 1871.

Thank you very much.

Perhaps this is why he is difficult to find (as I have it I might as well pass it on)
It looks like Benjamin had money problems
In the Leicester Chronical and Leicester Mercury of Jan 15th 1881
Local Liquidations - Benjamin Cambers of 49 Lee Street, Leics. Baker liabilities of £200
Meeting of creditors to be held 25th inst. at 3 o'clock
