    William thought to be born c1680 in either Great Saling or Bardfield (Little) Saling Essex, his surname was recorded as Sarles, Serls and Serles. William married Grace Goldstone by Licence in Chelmsford Essex in 1705, both stated as being "of Easton".

    Their first two children were baptised 1705 & 1707 in Great Easton, Essex and then three children were baptised in Lt Easton 1713, 1712 & 1724.

    William was buried 1746 in Lt Easton and Grace 1742 in Stebbing Essex.
