    Hello,

With the aid of FamilySearch I have located the bulk of burials in Wiltshire that I'm looking for. However, I'm missing a number of them:

William and Mary Church, who were having children in Hilmarton in the 1750s.

John King and his wife Susannah of Longbridge Deverill, christening children in the early 1800s.

James and Mary Stevens. Were christening children in Broad Chalke in the 1790s.

William and Elizabeth Goldstone, christening children in the early 1700s in Hilmarton.

William and Mary Church, christening children in Hilmarton as late as the 1750s.

Thomas and Betty Andrews, christening children in Bremhill in the 1740s.

    I'd appreciate any help!

    Adam

At the front of the Hilmarton register ( browsable at Ancestry) is a note which says "this register was compiled by an illiterate person" it's not the worst register I've seen but it would take some time to browse through. If the last child you have for William and Mary was before 1757 you might consider the burial of a Mary Church on 2 Jan 1757.
That's all I had time for.

My ancestor was christened in May 1757 :( but thanks very much for searching anyway.

Not beyond the realm of possibility that mother Mary died in child birth and baptism delayed.

That was the conclusion I reached. It's not impossible.
