WW11 UK Military Forces Men in Canada

    Is there any way to find out if any family members from UK were in Canada for training excersizes or other reasons?
    I know of Canadian family members going to UK for training & have a photo which includes one Canadian, one British & one 'unknown' Army men in uniform.
    Would be good to find out if any others were over in Canada also. I did wonder if any UK personnel from Army or RAAF were sent over to train men on Canadian bases.

    It would be on their records, most likely. I guess.

    There-by lies the difficulty AM, finding those records. They don't always mention going to training bases. Sometimes travel records show but not always.

    My uncle Peter joined the RAF at the start of the war and was sent to Canada for training. I found this on a well-known genealogy site:
