You know you're old when . . .

Check Ancestry,..they probably have it for all the world to see.

 

Oh Lord, I'm on there, in the two years I used as a search parameter there are two others with the same first and last name as myself, just different middle names, one I already knew of but not the other. And to think that before #2 turned up I thought I was unique, now there's three of us and all born in Essex.

 

Blue rinse! Oh my! LMAO!

 

I know and I'm only in my 40s. I blame hubby for the grey hairs not the dead rellies that won't give up their secrets

 

Mine's been there ages too (I did post yesterday but it wasn't accepted ) and I am amazed at how many of me there are/were. I seem to have been there right from the start of registration in 1837 up until the 1970's......and there was me thinking I was pretty unique

My younger granddaughter told me recently that her mom had been showing her how I found records on various sites. "Guess what granddad. You were telling the truth when you told me you and nanny got married"!!!!!

 

Oh dear!

 

A chap I 'work' with used to work for the Post Office. For a laugh, I was intending to look up his entry and then 'chide' him as being so old that he had his own record on Ancestry.

However, I can't find his entry, under any spelling. Damn!

I can find my sister's entry, in the 1950's, but not his.

 

I might just open up the year parameter search later today and see how many more of me there are in Essex.
