'In mate of (can't make out the next bit, but ending with) Len (or) Fen. 3223 (or) 3228'

After a bit of fiddling, I wonder if the first bit (up to the pale streak) might be Extra, but that's as far as I've got.

Have been playing a bit. I still can't make out exactly what it says but tend to agree that the second word could be from and I think the first word starts with an e. Maybe someone with better eyes than me can see something

Pretty sure (you know about 5% sure ) that it says 'Evaquee from' as in evacuee
