I have traced Catherine OK in the 1841 and 1851 census. In 1851, age 17 she was a House Servant in Flotterton, Northumbria. (Her family in 1851, Head, Jeremiah Connor, was based in Newton By the Sea, Northumbria) Then Jeremiah and family in 1861 census had moved to Northfleet, Kent. However Catherine isn't on the 1861 family census. I cannot find her on any 1861 census. Did she marry between 1851-1861? If so I haven't found any marriage details. Can anyone find Catherine?

If you look on FreeBMD there is a marriage in sep qtr 1859 Newcastle T 10b 178. With the spouse either John Dodgson or Bernard Rowe. If you check these names against a census you may find a Catherine with one of those names.

If it is your Catherine marrying in 1859 then there are two baptisms at St Mary Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Michalus Roe 10/9/1862 father Bernardi Roe mother Catharina Connor Roe
Jacabus Roe 12/8/1860 father Bernardi Roe mother Catherina Connor Roe.
Family Search
It seems Michalus died at one week and Jacobus at age 22 in 1883

Again, if your Catherine. On 1871 census for Newcastle-on-Tyne, Catherine is said to be born Ireland as is Bernard. Children, James, Mary, Michael and Bernard. Is Jacobus, James?
1881 census, Bernard is a plasterer, a widower and living with James Mary and Bernard.
All Family Search but no luck with them on 1861.

Not sure if it is her. Catherine Roe death Freebmd Newcastle T age 30. June qtr 1871. Too young if she was 17 in 1851....darn.

I am going to throw this one into the mix, and perhaps someone else can disprove it.
On the 1861 census at 15 Terrace, Milton, Kent (RG09/470/45/29)
Catherine Martin age 26 married - customs house officer's wife (this has been scored through and Captain's wife entered) born Scotland
Henry A Martin age 8 months - customs house officer's son (again scored through and Captain's son entered).
The head of the household is William Martin (32) a waterman with his wife and children.

Forward to 1871 - Bentley Sreet, Milton, Gravesend, Kent (RG10/890/22/36)
H Thos Martin age 38 waterman born Gravesend (Anc. has Jo Thos)
Catherine Martin age 36 Scotland
Jessie age 7 Gravesend
H Charles age 4 Gravesend

1881 53 Edwin Street, Milton, Gravesend, Kent RG11/872/17/28)
Henry T Martin age 45 waterman born Gravesend
Catherine age 46 Scotland
Jessie age 17 dressmaker Gravesend
Henry c age 14 scholar Gravesend

There is a death reg. for Catherine Martin age 47
March qtr 1882 Gravesend 2a 294
(Henry Thos. can be followed through living with daughter Jessie in Greenwich)

This seems, to me, a likely candidate for Catherine Connor but I cannot find the marriage of Henry Thomas Martin to a Catherine to prove or disprove it - can anyone else?

According to the website below and presuming they have it right, this Catherine is Catherine Sabestone.

There is a Catherine Connor died 1884 age 46 June qr Tynemouth. I guess it is about 4 years out - possible. But then it doesn't help at all with the censuses following 1851.

It may be worthwhile getting the death cert for 1856 Berwick. It seems a definite possibility. Where was she actually born?
