Perhaps because they hide the person you really need to find.
 
Ha ha! It was half a joke. 90% of my family are in Dorset. Most of my questions on here start off there! I really wouldn't know where to start :rolleyes:

I'd ask for a pic of the headstone for the man mentioned in my signature, but I think he's actually buried in Hampshire
