My family is one side First Fleeter Convicts to Australia (Kable and Holmes) and the other a mysterious mix of Walkers and people I cannot pin down! Walkers from Staffordshire are worse than Thomases from Wales (which is my partner's family!).

No. Never met. But I know their story. I too have a Cable/Kable convict but not as far as I'm aware, connected.

Sounds as though we MUST be connected! I am from John Henry Kable and Rosina Elizabeth Bayliss, through Frederick William Kable (grandfather) and Coral Kable (my mum).
